Through grant funds provided to MC4ME, we are able to offer at no cost, 3-hour mini-mindfulness retreats to support teacher wellness. MC4ME held a BE WELL Retreat for Hamtramck teachers at their spring PD where there were so many grateful participants, the room was at capacity! A few weeks ago, school staff from a Southfield K-8 building kicked off the school year with PD on self-care.
The Michigan Collaborative for Mindfulness in Education has received grant funds to support teacher wellness through our Be Well Retreats. These mini retreats are designed to introduce mindfulness strategies and practices to help reduce stress and gain skill in self-care. The retreat can be part of staff development offerings or designed as a separate after school or Saturday retreat. Email us at email@example.com to begin a conversation of how to bring this program of educator wellness and support to your school!
