MC4ME Partners With Michigan Education Association to Provide 8-week Mindfulness Training

MC4ME provided an 8-week mindfulness skills training for educators sponsored by the Michigan Education Association and its affiliate partner, the Ann Arbor Education Association. The program was a great success. Whether participants were new to the district or had 30 years of experience, all remarked on its pervasive impact on their personal and professional lives.

As Grahm Hannah, a high school teacher reflected:​
I really valued this class. It was the most important thing that I could have done to improve my skills coming into the district. Working 15-hour days is stressful. I sleep better, respond more thoughtfully and effectively, and am able to self-soothe back into a mental state fit for teaching students.
